Investing question

My husband and I want to start investing

We are 24 and work super hard but we want to do things that will help set us up for the future, whether that’s kids, vacations, retirement etc.

I’ve seen so many videos of what NOT to do but no one tells you what you SHOULD do

I get putting away a certain amount t of money every month…. But WHERE??? Like what website?? What app??

I’ve tried to do research and I just don’t get it!!

If anyone on here invests can you maybe dumb it down for me?? Like he SPECIFIC! We really want to do this but we just feel so lost!!
