Breastfeeding with teeth?!

How on earth are you mamas breastfeeding babies with teeth?! I feel horrible but every time he latches he bites down on my nipple so hard it draws blood 😳 for the last week I’ve attempted so many times and end up giving up and pumping a bottle for him… other moms must make it work?!? But I can’t figure it out. It’s so painful.

My little one has already 5 teeth and when he was congested he bit me hard a few times. It made me bleed and I couldn’t help but scream in pain when it happened. I accidentally scared him and he hasn’t done it since. But I’ve been told to just unlatch everytime and wait 10 mins before offering another feed so they know not to bite

He’s got two bottom teeth now. Frequently bites me. His top teeth are juuuuuust about to cut through and once they do we will slowly transition to bottles because I am NOT getting bit by those top teeth. I heard they hurt way more than bottom! No thank you!!!  He likes to bite and pull. Nothing has worked getting him to stop, he does it randomly and my goodness it gives me anxiety!

Have 4 teeth already she but a couple times but I stayed calm and removed her when she did that and now she seems to realize she won’t get milk if she does that and has stopped thankfully

Ugh it's so hard. It will get better! Will they still bite... Yes... But it's less often, at least that's my experience.

It’s been rough. 😩 We got both bottom teeth just after 5 months old and it is SO FUNNY when mommy yelps. 🙄 Thankfully it’s not been to the point of blood, I’m so sorry!

I’m dreading him getting teeth for this very reason. Luckily mine is still all gums.
