How to fix a bad haircut? 😭

I’m so upset I asked for this picture. I wanted it longer in the front and shorter in the back. I figured I’d go for a new cut after having a baby and I went to a very high end salon.. well I feel like they butchered my hair. I left almost in tears. Now I don’t know how to fix this.. any advice would help me. I’m not opposed to extensions either. My pics are last . It’s short on both sides in front then gets longer then inverts.

OMG, that’s awful 😭 I’m so sorry they did that to you. I’d try to go to another salon to see what they can do for you. See if your friends have any personal recommendations or make sure to look at the stylist’s portfolio

Did you always have the shorter pieces in the front and layers or did they do that? Have you tried curling it a little like the photo to see how you feel then? Not much you can do to fix this other than time. Extensions are definitely an option while you wait for your hair to grow out ❤️

OMG first of all take these photos and go straight back to the salon and file a complaint with the owner and get a full refund. They absolutely hacked your hair as it's NOTHING like the photo you showed them. 
Then look on Google and Facebook and find the highest rated salon in your area and go in and tell them your situation and show them what you wanted and let them take a look at what you're left with and someone more professional with better skills should be able to give you something that looks much better. Obviously they won't be able to do the original cut you wanted but someone should be able to clean this up for you.

I don’t think you’re hair looks bad, but it is not what you asked for. You should really go back in and show them the pic and your results so they can hopefully learn from it. 
I am team extensions. They are pricey, but I think they are worth it. Have them in for 6-12 months and then take them out. By then your hair should be at a stage you can do something about.
I had hair past my breasts, went in for a highlight and one side broke off by my chin 😩 I tried to wear it up, braid it, pin it back, but I ended up getting a bob. I have extensions in currently and when I took them out after 6 months my hair was looking and feeling so much better! I put them back in for another 6 months! They are expensive tho.
