So I just recently had a baby. And I made it clear to everyone the only one who would be meeting the baby for now would be my parents. The reason being they’re my neighbors and will be helping with the other two while I was in the hospital. I had a planned C-section so I wanted to focus on recovery. However a week after I had my son my sister “surprised” me with a visit, she flew in from Washington state. Although I love my sister I was a bit annoyed by this. My mom knew and she didn’t even give me a heads up. They really wanted me to have the help I needed for recovery. However. She helped for a few days and that was that. Now she comes over every single day and if the baby is sleeping she’ll wake him up. Kiss him all over. And it’s driving me crazy. She’ll stay all day long and I just need my own space. I haven’t even been able to adjust on my own like I had asked for. I’ve been cooking and cleaning for everyone including her as well. On top of not getting much sleep I’m very moody. Is it wrong of me to ask her to give me some space? How do I even tell her politely?
