Faint heartbeat (7w) - waiting for d&c

Last week (6w3d) our pregnancy was deemed as probable non viable because there was no fetal pole.

I was advised to come back this week (7w2d) to confirm it and schedule a d&c.

The bad news is that now they found a fetal pole measuring way behind (6w1d) and a very faint heartbeat (60bpm) - hcg is also not rising appropriately.

Now I have to go back home and wait until that heartbeat extinguishes so I can schedule the d&c.

I just wanted this nightmare to be over. Go back home to wait until the fetal pole dies is very cruel. After such a hard week I was ready to move on.

Any advises would be appreciated. thank you!
