Lmp was sept 3 but….

I just had an ultrasound done today and baby is mesring 5w2days how come if I know I ovulated September 18 .with my last menstrual period I’m supposed to be 7w 1d but if I count it from the day of ovulation is exactly 5w2 I don’t understand is anybody going thru the same thing ?
