Positive test yesterday morning and negative this morning

I had taken a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was clearly positive. I took a test this morning and it’s very negative. Is it possible for hcg to drop that fast? I went in to get my blood work done and will here about results by the end of the day. I’m just really upset and so confused.
