So I have this neighbor girl, I think she’s around 12 years old. She is always bringing my cat home, and it’s been a little annoying but I’ve just been letting her do it because I think she likes it. She’s always playing with my brother in laws cats too. But last night she came knocking on my door, woke me up, and told me my cat was starting fights with my brother in laws cats and that I shouldn’t let him outside anymore. The cats do screech at each other and it’s really annoying, but they have never jumped on each other. I just told her thank you and went back to bed. But it really bothers me that this little girl is coming to my house and telling me what to do with my cat. And if there was a real issue my brother or sister in law would say something to me about it, and I’ve mentioned it to them and they’ve also said they’ve never seen them fight. Their biggest cat fights other cats sometimes, but never our cats.

What would you guys do/say to the girl in this situation? I don’t want to be rude to her. But I think she’s overstepping. Thank you!
