Morning court!

Husband calls in for advice. His furnace breaks on a Friday. No heat. Wife suggests her brother who is an apprentice for a handyman comes Saturday to fix it. Husband is hesitant, this brother doesn’t hold a job and always has a “passion” of the week. Once in mechanic, once a carpenter etc. but husband agrees because wife is insistent

Brother comes over. Obvious this was a bad idea. Within an hour husband smells gas, brother insists he’s got in under control. Husband takes daughters to soccer while mom is working, when he comes home brother has the furnace taken apart in many pieces and is watching YouTube.

Husband is annoyed tells the brother to stop and his job is done. Husband calls HVAC company, $2000 later (would have been $500 if brother didn’t take apart) furnace is fixed.

Wife is furious husband fired her brother and insists he still should be paid $200 for his time. She is so mad the husband is sleeping on the couch.
