Anyone experience the same?

I’ve had loads of problems w My menstrual cycle for years, mainly after my miscarriage in 2018. Anyways, I noticed I’ll go 3-4 months without a period and then I’ll get one and bleed for weeks to over a month. My periods used to be super heavy and super painful, painful to the point I ended up in the er because the pain was so bad. Then suddenly they stopped being painful and aren’t as heavy. My gyno wants to keep pushing birth control, which I’ve used and then she told me to stop because of my blood pressure. My pcp had my levels tested a while ago and my thyroid was a little elevated and then tested again a few months later and was within normal range. She said I don’t have enough symptoms to diagnose with pcos or endo so I’ve been without answers for years.
