Do I call when I have my bloody show?

Hi! My mucus plug passed a couple days ago and I’ve just had my bloody show. Am I supposed to call my OB? Or do I just wait for actual labor contractions to get close together? I was induced with my last pregnancies and never had this before. I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant.

Are you having contractions? I wouldn’t call unless you’re bleeding a lot or your water breaks. When I had my first, I had bloody show and contractions for 20 hours before I went to the hospital. Didn’t feel the need to call, but I wasn’t concerned. Went to the hospital when the contractions were 4-5 minutes apart

I would call just to let them know and see what they recommend you do. Every office may be different , mine advised me to call if I experience it

I went when I had a bloody show and they kept me. I didn’t have contractions yet,but that meant I was dilated to atleast a 4 that’s active labor. That’s just how they do it down here.

My midwife said you can have bloody show and not go into labour for a week or more so unfortunately it doesn’t mean much, but to call if there’s more blood like a nose bleed or having contractions

No, you don’t call for mucus plug or bloody show unless you’re having bleeding that filled a pad. 
You’ll go into labor soon keep bouncing on the birthing ball and/or walking.
