Transvaginal Ultrasound at 5 weeks?

Hi all, I just found out I’m pregnant on Sunday. OBGYN has me scheduled at the end of November to verify my pregnancy and establish care. My PCP helped me schedule a transvaginal ultrasound to check things early since I miscarried in August and I’m nervous. I’ll be 5 weeks 3 days I think. Did anyone else have an ultrasound this early and see anything ? I know it’s pretty early still

Only the sac! It was too early to see. Went back at 8 weeks and could even hear the heart beat. It was the longest wait ever 🙈

Make sure baby is in uterus and it’s growing strong.

You should be able to see the gestational sac and  yolk sac ❤️

We saw yolk sac but no heart beat then. Just went back at week 7.5 and saw heartbeat so don’t be scared if you just see the sac!  Good luck!

I had an ultrasound done today. I’m 5w 4d. We saw and heard babies heartbeat! Along with the sac and fetal pole ect

While going through ivf during my last pregnancy they def did a transvaginal ultrasound around 5-6 weeks. I believe they can only really see the yolk and placenta placement… but i barely recall now.
