so I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. I got off the nuva ring 12 months ago and haven’t had a period since. I was gaining weight, random strech marks in odd places and had cystic acne so badly. I finally got my blood work done and everything else came back normal except my DHEA-S was low. So I took 50mg of DHEA and after only 5 days I had my first period in a year, and my acne has completely gone away. Is it possible that a deficiency in DHEA was causing all these issues?? I’ve googled a ton but there’s really not much out there for someone my age (22) that’s been struggling to get pregnant. I’m just worried it was all a fluke and that my period is going to disappear again😣
