Can yeast infection treatment cream make your mucus plug dislodge? I've developed a minor yeast infection, I'm almost 39 weeks. I went to the bathroom, and noticed a massive chunk of yellow stringy mucus like discharge. I couldn't tell if there was blood in it because it was covered in the canesten cream - but there was alot of what I think might be mucus plug. I've had some irregular contractions yesterday, and they're starting up again today.

Also, if I do go into labor before I have this treated completely, will it harm the baby? (Not the yeast infection, but the cream itself)
