Going to crash and burn
So my husband is in poor health, and the doctors keep having him stay off of work, so currently I’m the only one working. I can’t afford to change jobs till after the end of the year cause of needing the insurance coverage since I thankfully have our family on my insurance plan instead of him having one on us. I only make $15.36 an hour ($16.36 if I have good attendance that week). Im also helping hubs sell glass on eBay for his grandpa now, but that’s only gonna give is an average of an extra $5-700 on the first of the month based off of how well selling went the previous month (which is still a major help), and this is our first month, but we also have a lot of debt to pay right now. I feel like we’re going to crash and burn and lose everything at this rate. I know our families will try to keep that from happening, but we’re trying to do this all on our own. Two of my checks alone go to the mortgage, one covers the car loan and a handful of some of the smaller bills, and my last check only covers the sitter cost (even though hubs is home, even if our son stays home with him, we still have to pay the sitter $480 a month ($120 a week, $40 a day, we only need her Tuesday-Thursday since my MIL watches him Monday and Friday) for her to hold his spot cause during the periods of times my husband does work we need a sitter those days). So obviously I’m not bringing in enough to cover our monthly expenses without additional costs added. My question is, can anyone recommend to me anything we can do to bring in money from home? Also any job suggestions for myself after for after the new year would be appreciated. And any jobs that he can do with his health. He has liver and pancreas issues, he can’t keep working a physical job, but turning wrenches is all he’s ever really known how to do. TIA!
