Is 1.5 days long enough to get a good sperm sample???

I’m doing my first IUI tomorrow morning!! My husband masturbated last night though. Is a 32 hour abstinence gonna be enough to get a good sample tomorrow?? Super worried

Our doc says 24hours… however his post wash has been slightly under the preferred 10mil. We are doing 2.5 days abstinence this time to see if it helps. Our last was only 1.5 days and was better than the first but not quite optimal. It’s annoying because his numbers prewash are amazing… so that was discouraging. I would say 2-3 days no longer for sure and probably more than 24hrs

Might be okay as long as he doesn’t have a low sperm count to begin with.
