Cd 12 too early to ovulate after clomid?

So this is my 3rd clomid cycle and I’m pretty sure I ovulated cd 12 I woke up to lots of clear stretchy cm and had mild cramping and pinching I didn’t even receive a peak because I forgot to test cd 11 😩

Cervical mucus does not determine ovulation, unfortunately neither do pains. That can occur before, during and after actual ovulation. But yes, it is possible to ovulate on CD12. Do you have a progesterone Check scheduled? Are you still going to use opks to see if you get a surge later?
