What do you think of the meaning of life?

For the past year I’ve been constantly thinking and looking for the meaning of life. Like what is it? Im only young and surely it’s not just about working almost everyday, spending your money in the little time that you have to yourself and then just dying. There has to be more than that. The stereotype is to get a full time job find a partner have kids retire then die. What do you guys believe the meaning is to life in general or your life alone?

Everyone I think has a different purpose.
I’m a full time paralegal, wife and mother. Not necessarily in that order. Most days I think my purpose was to be a mom and give and show them the best life I can give them. 
Other days I think my purpose is to show kindness and gratitude. I lost my best friend (my little sister) to suicide july 2019. On the outside she was the life of the party, the group event planner, brilliant, and beautiful. I miss her every day. My grief has made me an advocate for mental health and making sure to no one feels alone

I don’t think there is a meaning. I think the universe exists, earth was created, life was formed, and we’re just living and trying to make the best of it.

I think the generation of kids who have grown up with social media think they each have a much higher purpose than an average life. The reality is that most people will have an average life and that’s still beautiful on its own. I think we’re just a part of nature and we’re just here to live and eventually die. I’m religious so I also believe in an afterlife of some sort, but I can’t fully know which or what kind of afterlife. Society likes to tell us we’re all special and unique in our own way, but I personally think we’re all a little less special and more similar than we think we are.

I think the meaning of life is simply for life to experience itself. 
Beyond that life is whatever meaning you wish to give it and cultivate.

It will differ for everyone I believe. For me I believe, and have since I was early teens, that the meaning was to leave the world and those in it better off in sone way. Whether planting trees, helping build homes, teaching skills, or now raising tiny humans to be amazing and kind and productive members of society. I know my time here is tomorrow to leave something better even if it is small things. But to be a good person with compassion and to do good in any way I can. While I am atheist my husband is catholic and for him he thinks his meaning is to live his life how he believes God wants people to live..which for him can be hard because he doesn't agree with a lot of how his priests as a kid taught them so he is following his own path and beliefs. He wants to be a good person/husband/father and help as many people as he can but he thinks that him forging his own ideals of his religion is a life meaning and a task that God chose for him knowing that he can see the issues man has caused in the church and faith. He does a better job explaining as I am not religious so doesn't all click with me but has a want ro find the good in religion and call out the bad, corrupt, unethical, amd ungodly even if it goes against mainstream views of the faith. So we have our own meanings. My older sister days her meaning of life wad to be a mom. She has always wanted to do that and said she has known that was her meaning since she was little. To be a mom and caregiver...which she has 3 kids who are amazing and she is the literal best mother ever. I think you just have to find out what it is for you and that may come now or 30 yrs from now.

I don't know. I just try to spend as much time with my kids as possible and love the people close to me as much as I can. They give my life meaning. I'm a Christian so I try to do what I think God would want me to.
