My 7 month old, almost 8, will not eat purées or finger foods. I’ve been trying since 6 months.

I’ve tried puréed sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, berries, etc she wouldn’t eat it. She’d try it then lock her lips up and turn her head or smack the spoon.

So I tried steamed foods that she could pick up and control. She only squished them and threw it. I figured she just was learning about her food. After a few tries of that she would try a little and refuse to eat it.

I tried giving her those rice husk teething biscuits and she wont even do those.

This is my 4th kiddo and this is completely different from my others. I’m a bit confused on what else to do. Anyone else go through this?
