Any other EP mamas?

Anyone else exclusively pumping for their babe? We tried breastfeeding but she was almost 3 weeks early and only 5lbs 3 oz so her latch wasn’t great and her mouth is very small. I still comfort nurse here and there but she isn’t efficient at removing milk. I’m almost 5 weeks PP and making about 23 oz a day. A little under what she’s eating. Can I ask what y’all are producing and how many weeks PP you are?

I always thought I had a low supply with my first bc I never pumped a lot/enough for her…..but I’ve been EBF my 2nd baby and she’s gaining weight just fine. I still don’t get hardly anything when I pump…I went to a lactation consultant and they said pumps just aren’t as efficient and some women just don’t respond well to them. Once I go back to work I know I’m going to have to supplement with something bc I won’t pump enough to make up her feeds while I’m gone. It’s so frustrating! With my first I used to watch videos of her while I pumped at work…it was a tip I read online to make your body respond to release milk. I don’t know if it worked but I felt it did 😂

Im EP and babe is 9 weeks. Im oversupplying idk how so freezing any leftovers. He is just really fussy at the Breast sometimes. I wish i could EBF but as long as hes getting fed thats all that matters. 😊❤️

I pumped up to 7 weeks and just couldn’t keep up with my twins and switched to formula. I do miss being able to feed them from my supply but it was so stressful knowing everyday I was falling behind and eventually was running out of my freezer stash. I was producing about 36-40oz a day and the girls were eating at the time about 24-26oz each.
