So I applied to work at a hospital a few months ago and they just got back to me today. The hospital is about 40 minutes away and it’s going to be winter soon so I was in a debate about if I would want to take 40 minutes to and from there and with the weather also might make it more difficult. I’ve read the reviews about it online and there was a lot of bad reviews ranging from an improper birth, blood being took wrong and not receiving organ transplants after being told the person could get one, the staff being racist to black people there, people sending emails or making phone calls on serious matters just to get an answer months later and more. I’ve had bad work experience ever since I started working and the place was always near a high way and people were always disrespectful and would set other co workers up for failure. I do know a few people who work there and they claimed it to be fine except the people I know I’ve had bad relationships with and they would make up all the excuses to back up their bad behavior so I can’t help but feel like the reviews are true. When I showed people the reviews they’ve told me a lot of enabling comments such as “just go and see what it’s like.” “You don’t like it quit.” “Ignore the reviews, just because someone said something bad about the workplace maybe they’re just angry.” Usually people can tell about a situation, place or person before even interacting just by a vibe that they get. Makes me want to roll my eyes and go into a complete rage about it!
