Won’t do this until your married??

Question

So besides sex obviously, what’s something you won’t do for a SO unless your married? I have a friend who absolutely won’t do any kind of cleaning for him when she’s at place because she said that’s a wife benefit.😅 I just feel like
I’m over here cooking and cleaning and making sure he’s eating his veggies and bringing him things at his work and it’s like dang I would wife me up if I could! Lol. Just curious others thought on this.

The concept of “wife duties” is so absurd to me. I’m not withholding part of myself until we’re married lol. Imagine getting married and then all of a sudden I was a completely different person 😂😂

Things I wouldn’t do would be like combine joint bank accounts, put each other on the same phone bill, put him on my car title, stuff like that personally shouldn’t be done before marriage.

I would do the same before and after marriage with my man. Honestly, that includes sex (for me I do not see a reason to wait until marriage, nothing against those who wait it’s just not my thing)

There wasn't anything for us really. We already lived together, split bills, etc. Honestly nothing has changed since we got married.

I just wouldn’t move in with him. That’s a true wife benefit that he would need to wife me for. 
As for cooking and cleaning, you demonstrate your true “homely” and nurturing character by doing so. Then he can take that into consideration when he contemplates marrying you. Just like I need to know that you will be a good husband by seeing how you carry yourself at home and as a provider and care taker, he will need to know if you’re nurturing and would make a good companion and wife and even mother. 
This day and age, my statements are controversial but reality is this is what men look for, so take it up with them. I said what I said.

I cleaned my husband's room up and things like that a lot while we were dating and engaged. Heck, we cleaned his entire closet out and reorganized it. I don't see that being something you "shouldn't do". Even while engaged, if we ever cooked together, he'd clean the dishes, I'd dry and put them up (unless I couldn't reach😂). I see no problem at all with doing things like that before being married.

I didn't do anything special for him. I didn't live with him or do any  households chores for him or do anything sexual. I would occasionally cook a meal for us both or help him work on a project but that's about it. Nothing I wouldn't do for any other friend

I wouldn't buy property or purposely try and have children with a boyfriend. Those are things I'd wait for until I was married. I wouldn't be cleaning up after, or doing routine chores for a boyfriend either. I'm not pouring into someone like that unless we both know we're in it forever.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for him before we got married but people always say “why buy the cow when you get the milk for free” basically meaning if you do everything a wife would do prior to marriage, there is no reason to marry since they get it all without it. Idk. I gave him all of the “benefits” of a wife prior to marriage and he still married me so who knows. 😂
