How much should I help my sister postpartum
I had a baby 3 months ago and all my sister did to help postpartum was stop by and give me a half-eaten cake from a party she was just at. Now she’s due with her first baby in a month. It’s my nature to want to help her by cooking, meal prepping for and with her, go to her house to help (our mom was able to stay with me with my baby but she will not be available for my sister bc of work). But I’m still salty about that cake. Lol. I just know how hard those first 6ish weeks are and I want to help. But am salty!! How much effort would you put in?
Edit - my mom stayed with me for only a few days and then helped by bringing us food. She’ll be able to bring my sister as much food as she brought me, she just won’t be able to stay with my sister during the day. I would like to stay with my sister but I have my own little baby so idk if that’s realistic.
