Flu shot while pregnant?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant my OB office  asked me if I want to get my flu shot . They told me it’s recommended. However, I have never gotten the flu shot in my life (probably except when I was baby.) So not sure how I’ll react to it. Is anyone else getting their flu shot or already got it ? And how did it go.

I had it with both my pregnancies and didn't have any problems but I get it every year.

I’m 34 weeks and getting it next week. I’ve actually never had a flu shot before but I got flu so badly last winter, (caught it from my then 2 year old) and never want him or me to go through that horror again (will get him the flu vaccine too this winter).

I got my flu shot and the covid booster while pregnant. No issues at all. And i ended up getting covid in my 8th month and thank God we were both fine.

I got the flu shot when pregnant but not covid. I also got TDAP. I needed flu for work. Baby is good, 9 months now and leaps ahead on milestones. However you should do what feels comfortable and right for you regardless of what anyone else chose

I never got the flu shot before my first pregnancy in 2016. I only had the flu once in my life so I never bothered. 
But I get it with every pregnancy (I'm on my fourth.) And I get it yearly even not being pregnant to help protect my children, who also get it. 
When I was pregnant with my third child and the flu vaccine wasn't out for the year yet, my husband, 17 m/o, and 3 y/o sons all three got the flu. I didn't get it, thankfully. But it was ROUGH for my 17 m/o. He's autistic, loves food, and hated being constricted/cuddled but when he had the flu, he ran a 104 fever, wouldn't eat anything at all, barely drank, and wanted me to hold him constantly. 
Getting the flu shot while pregnant offers baby some of that protection. So I always get it. If it was that rough on my 17 m/o (who was an hour away from the ER by doctor's instructions if his fever didn't break) then I can't imagine how rough the flu is on a newborn. I try to give any protection I can.

The first time I ever got it (as an adult anyway) was when I was pregnant with my first. Now I get it every year and so does my whole family. It’s not a guarantee of no flu, but it’s super easy and definitely gives us a better chance. This flu season in particular is shaping up to be really bad.

I never got the flu shot before pregnancy. I didn’t get it last pregnancy and wont be getting it this pregnancy. I will be getting the whooping cough though!

I just got during my first trimester. Didn't hurt and no side effects!
