I found out at my 8week ultrasound that I was having mono/mono twins, but they were only measuring 6weeks. Follow up ultrasound 10days later showed that their hearts had stopped not long after the first ultrasound. I had had bleeding the entire pregnant, so I knew it was likely that I would miscarry, but that really doesn’t make it easier. I was scheduled for a D&C yesterday, but the night before my body started to miscarry on it’s own. I passed large clots, heavy bleeding. My doc had me get an ultrasound before doing the d&c to see if I passed the sac, not wanting to do the surgery if it wasn’t necessary.

It showed that the sack was sitting on my cervix, and she was very confident that I could pass it on my own with the help of the pill. I placed the pills last night, and passed 3 large clots. I still have this weird feeling/pressure though, as if something is stuck. Similar to how it feels when you have a full tampon that needs to come out. I can do another round of the medication tonight, but I don’t know if it’s a phantom feeling or if I still have tissue that’s trying to come out. I’m nervous to take more medication if I don’t actually need to.

Is this a normal feeling with a miscarriage? Has anyone else had similar?
