When did you transition LO to the crib?

How old was your LO when you start putting them in their crib for naps and bedtime? Did baby sleep better in the crib? How long did it take for baby to get used to the crib? My baby is 3 months old and today I just put her in her crib for her first nap and she has been moving nonstop 🤦🏻‍♀️

Every kid is different, I started putting both of mine in the crib since day 1(they should absolutely be out of the bassinet once they start rolling) for us it worked best to put them in it often, create that safe comfortable space for them, try naps first and then after a week put them in for nights too so it’s not a bunch of new things all at once

Used the crib for night time sleep from the day we came home from the hospital. Naps we used a cradle in the living room or the bassinet on the stroller.

My little girl is 3 months old and has been napping in her crib since she was about 1 month. She was squirmy at first too but eventually she figured it out and takes good naps there. She’s still in the bassinet in my room at night but I’m confident that she’ll do fine when we transition her

I did naps in the crib, nighttime sleep in the bassinet for a few months before fully transitioning her to crib only. It made for the rough naps where she squirmed or slept for shorter periods of time, but by the time we fully transitioned out of the bassinet (at 5 months), she was used to the crib and had no issues.
