Can u get it again?

I just recovered from Covid. (Tested positive about 2 weeks ago). My sister is now just showing symptoms, we live together. Could I re get it from her even tho I just recovered from it and gave it to her? Or do I have some immunity to it now?

You are not immune from catching covid again, BUT in this situation it will not occur. It’s the same strain of covid so therefore it will not reinfect you. So don’t worry about it! I am an ER nurse practitioner so just be mindful while everyone is sick in the household

You can most definitely get it again. My family has tested positive 3 times now. 😔
