How to politely ask grandparents not to gift too many toys
So my partners parents (and grandparents) aren’t a huge part of our lives but try to look the part by continuously gifting masses of toys/clothes/everything. It’s honestly got me so anxious for Christmas!
Last year we ended up with so much that an entire car boot load went to charity!
We try to keep our play space minimal as honestly our daughter gets overwhelmed when there’s too much and we don’t have much storage space either.
To make matters worse our nutritionist has suggested we minimise toxins in our home due to high toxic load on blood work so no plastic toys, toxic paints on wooden toys and only natural fibres for clothes too.
How do we politely tell them to curb the gifts?
