Has anyone had a tooth extracted before?

🚨 TMI!!!! tmi tmi !! Do not open if you don’t wanna see 🚨 but is this signs of a normal tooth healing or a dry socket??

Healing properly looks like a white granular tissue forming a day or two after seeing a clot in the socket. It doesn’t seem to be healing right. I would go back to the dentist and get them to clean and pack it for you. It will hurt for a few days the pain gets worse around day 2 or 3 and then starts to get better.

I’m a EFDA so which is Expanded functions of a dental assistant . That looks like a dry socket  . You will need to go and get medicine placed into the extraction socket . They should clean it out with sterile saline also to make it bleed again and form the blood clot . Try not to drink through a straw , chew on opposite side and no smoking if you smoke
