I (F22) have always been in relationships where I see my partner almost everyday. But my new boyfriend (M25) never had a girlfriend he saw as much as he sees me
I know it’s normal for couples to not see each other a lot but I’ve never had to deal with it before. I saw my ex boyfriends almost every single day but that was also because they were bums and lived at their parents home relying on them for everything. My current boyfriend has an apartment with two other people and works two jobs. He’s busy and I’m also busy, as I work two jobs and am in college and also have my apartment with roommates.
I guess I’m here to ask for advice on how to stop overthinking. He wouldn’t text me for hours and I would start thinking that he is ignoring me or not have any interest in me anymore. He absolutely shows no signs of that as he would text me as soon as he can and ask how my day was, etc. It’s just engraved in my head that he and everyone else will leave me and forget about me unless I see them all the time. But I know that absence makes the heart grow fonder and it’s unhealthy to hangout with someone every single day. How do I stop overthinking that he’d not want me anymore unless I see him everyday? Please be nice. I’ve been having a hard time dealing with this.
