I've had a new friend for a few months now (I've known her since the beginning of the year but it's really only the last couple of months we've been friends). She was having a really difficult situation with her landlord that I helped her through, being there for her and all that, and then she moved in with her fairly new boyfriend which also has been a nightmare (he revealed a completely different, nasty, lazy, manipulative side to him once she was in).

Anyway, we've been talking pretty much every single day for the last three months. On Tuesday she was complaining again about how her one child is really unhappy with the new living arrangement and her kids are getting different treatment and her boyfriend is selfish and all that. So I suggested to her, as she once told me she's got tons of money saved for her kids sitting in an account overseas, that maybe she just dips in there a teeny, tiny bit just to get enough money to pay a deposit and a few months rent somewhere else while she works on her finances. Because that's the whole reason why she ran into landlord issues - couldn't afford rent for two months.

And she never replied. I figured she was busy so I sent her a meme two days later. She's read it but still no reply and it's been almost a week now that she hasn't spoken to me.

The only thing I can think of is because I brought up maybe using the kids money, just a fraction of it, to get out of a negative environment. I mean I can't see why she's suddenly stop talking to me. Was I out of line mentioning this?
