RSV is running rampant in my area and my daughter contracted it at 19 days old. She is doing wonderful now and coming off the cpap machine but I just wanted to bring a little awareness to the severity of this virus. It’s impossible to imagine the pain until your going through it yourself. I did everything I possibly could to prevent her from catching it and she still did. If you’ve got school aged kids, I know sibling bonding is important but keep them away from baby until baby has an immune system. My son had zero symptoms of being ill, he carried it home from school. He was never in her face or all over her and she still caught it. It’s so scary and it is so severe sometimes.
