I was reading through posts to see how all the March babies were doing. It sounds like the March babies are doing great, I love seeing the pictures.

It’s been a hectic 3 months for us. My son was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms at 5 months and has been in and out of hospitals, doctors offices, on high dose steroids (we had to inject ourselves 😭) which completely changed his personality, he didn’t smile for 2+ months, he spent time in the PICU. He’s our first and my pregnancy was easy, never thought this would be our reality, but you just never know the hand you’re going to be dealt.

Because of the seizures he’s delayed developmentally, which has been heartbreaking, I was so excited for all of his milestones but the positive is it’s even more special when he reaches them now. His neurologist basically described it as a pause button being pressed on his brain until the seizures are controlled. He’s in PT and OT multiple times a week and is making progress! He has shown me what true strength is. Wanted to share his smiley picture when he was getting his most recent EEG on. We’re praying that this is just a HUGE bump in the road for Logan and us and trying to stay as positive as possible. All the best to the adorable March babies ❤️
