Anyone thinking about potty training little ones yet?

We just tried last week. Did 3 days diaper free with some success and then on day 3 kiddo started "withholding" basically wouldnt per for 3 hours and would hold in poop ALL DAY. Now kiddo is straight up afraid of the toilet but happy to pee on themselves. It backfired. We'll try again around xmas.

We started just casually and it’s going pretty well actually. She’s loving going to the potty and is so excited by the whole thing. She wasn’t sitting still long enough to poop but now she sits in front of coco melon and doesn’t want to come off the potty at all. That will be a fun habit to break down the track :)

Gonna wait till after new baby is here, let her take in the change and then potty train. Hopefully by next summer!

I’m waiting until he’s closer to turning 3 unless he give me signs that he’s ready, but I’m in no hurry to start.
