Spotting before ovulation?

Question

What is this? It looks like implantation bleeding but I was expecting to be ovulating in about 2 days. 
My cycles are extremely regular, I ovulate on my own and confirm with OPKs and blood tests so I’m really confused. Has this happened to anyone before?

I always have spotting during ovulation.  My doctor said it was fine.

If you're around ovulation it's likely due to ovulation not pregnancy.....

Implantation happens 6 to 12 days after ovulation. Implantation bleeding is also very uncommon, only 1 in 3 women experience Implantation bleeding. You can have spotting during ovulation though. I'd keep testing with your opks. Good luck!
