IUI too early?
Single by choice. No fertility issues. Using donor sperm. First IUI.
Started period 10/22.
Cycle roughly 27 days.
Glow stated ovulation 11/4.
I have been tracking my cycle for 6 months and I get a positive OPK every month and I can feel ovulation.
10/22: period
11/2: 11 am ultrasound, 1 follicle, size 19
11/3: 8 am OPK negative-test line lighter than control line
11/3: 8:05 am ovadril injection
11/3: 10:05 am OPK positive-both lines equal
11/4: Glow predicated ovulation day
11/4: 9 am OPK positive-both lines equal
11/4: 11 am IUI
11/4: 10 pm OPK positive-both lines equal
11/5: am and pm OPK positive-test line noticeably darker than control line. I felt ovulation “cramps” morning through mid day.
11/6 and 11/7: OPKs still positive and equal in color
I know when you take ovadril it will trigger a positive OPK test but I believe I should have done the ovadril when I had a positive OPK (I was negative when I took it) and then did IUI 24-36 hours later. I believe I should have done IUI the morning of 11/5.
