So, I have a good guy friend who I meet a few months ago. We immediacy hit it off and often hang out 1 on 1 and in a group. He also messages me from time to time. He asked me out once and I told him we couldn’t date as I wasn’t in the place too. We had a few drinks one night and got a little affectionate (nothing sexual - just held hands and lent on each other shoulder). I apologised for my part the next day which he said wasn’t necessary.

We now continue to hang and message and I love his company - he is a great guy. If I am honest I have a bit of a crush too. BUT it wouldn’t be a good idea to go there.

Is it leading someone on to text them very regularly - nothing flirty but can defs have a deep chat? Or even leading on to hang out together and maybe flirt a little?

This is not at all my intention, but I am aware that I may be giving off mixed messages if I secretly have a little crush too. Go easy on me here please! He is such a great friend and don’t want to hurt him, but also don’t want to distance. So confusing when he isn’t giving me the idea that it bothers him??
