Any IVF success at 43-44 years old?

Hi all - I’m looking for some hope here. Has anyone found success at IVF at this age? We are wanting a second child, but after viewing a webinar at our clinic we seem to be losing hope. The statistics aren’t great and my husband now has serious doubts about going forward. Please let me know if you are in your 40’s and had success with IVF. 🙏🏻

I just had my identical twin boys at 43, using embryo frozen at 41 or 42 (not sure as I transferred 2 embryos, only one implanted but it split). I did 7 transfers all up

Hey hun, I’m in a fb group for over 40’s in Australia and plenty of women have had success, not necessarily on the first try but there is hope. I’m 40 and starting my stims tomorrow. 3rd times a charm 😀🤞

It’s definitely long odds. I had success with a retrieval just before turning 42, yielding 5 or 6 well graded embryos, but only 2 tested normal. Another friend had just one untested embryo at 44, but it actually worked. Other friends have gone through 5-6 retrievals without success. Read up on things you can do to improve egg quality and get started on those asap.

I nearly did IVF but we went into lockdown but then got pregnant naturally twice, once at 44 and once at 46. both were miscarriages buy I'm still trying.

I’m 43 and started protocol to do my first FET in 2 weeks. I got pregnant naturally last year but had a MMC at 11 weeks. Since then I’ve done 2 egg retrievals which resulted in 3 genetically normal embryos. First attempt to transfer was canceled because my body was not responding to the meds. So not pregnant yet from IVF but feeling positive about the 3 tries we will have.

I’ve been told that I can’t use my own eggs for IVF (I’m two weeks shy of 45). No way will my husband agree to use someone else’s eggs, so we’re trying several medicated cycles, then perhaps IUI, and then if all else fails, moving on from the dream all together and just appreciating the miracle biological daughter that I do have. 💜
