I had an emergency c-section and due to the drugs I was taking, my milk supply was down. Therefore, we decided to introduce the formula right away in the hospital. Fast forward to 7 weeks, every time he pushes for formula and ignores that I am breastfeeding. Even my in-laws keep on telling me to make j bottles. Knowing the fact that this formula creates so many problems ( colic, gas and constipation ), they persist with formula feeding. I told my husband that he should self-educate himself and read the pro and cons, then he will understand why am preferring breastfeeding. Everyone tells me including the midwife and doctors to breastfeed him as much as possible. to be honest I have started breastfeeding him more often, he sleeps better and has good days in comparison to those days when he was solely formula-feed and would constantly cry day and night. He is always in arguments that am keeping the baby hungry by breastfeeding and I should be feeding him formula. Should I stop breastfeeding completely or continue?
