I’m 8 DPO today, I decided to take a ovulation test just for fun. It’s super positive. Can this mean I’m pregnant? I’m testing tomorrow.

Why do people see this as fun? Lol. These really aren’t supposed to be used at just any given point of our cycles. We get a secondary Estrogen surge during the mid-latter part of the TWW, which can cause a temporary surge in LH, so if that’s happening and you test with an OPK, odds are, it’s gonna be positive. Yes, LH and HCG share a common receptor that the test may not be able to differentiate, but that’s usually when HCG is elevated. You’re only 8DPO, and the vast majority of us haven’t even implanted at that point. I don’t recommend testing with a pregnancy test until at least 10-12DPO.

Answer

No. You can have multiple surges in the same cycle, doesn't mean anything in particular.
