Do you change your baby's diaper everytime it's wet?
I was told that I must be lying or that I'm ridiculous for changing my baby's diaper every time it was wet. First I pointed out that my child has extremely sensitive skin and if even a just a damp diaper was left on she'd break out with the most awful yeast rash by the next day. She was so uncomfortable she'd scratch her skin until she bled. Pediatrician diagnosed her with super sensitive skin and advised to keep her skin as dry as possible so of course every time she had even the slightest damp diaper I changed it immediately. I changed her diaper immediately if she peed. I would check her throughout the night and change her diaper if she peed. I even potty trained her super early to get her out of diapers so her skin would have relief.
Anyway another way I feel about this is I wouldn't want to be left in a spoiled diaper so I changed my baby every time her diaper wasn't clean.
Apparently from what I've been told on this app most moms only change their baby's diaper every 3 hours even if they know their baby peed if they had recently changed their diaper they wait to change it again. Is this true? Do you all only change your baby every 3 hrs? Am I just ridiculous for making sure my baby was dry so she wouldn't break out?
