Am I weird or suspicious ?

So I gave my husband the passcode to my phone so he can see everything in it but he’s saying I’m suspicious because he didn’t have the passcode to my eyes only on Snapchat. The thing is I’ve literally showed him everything I have in my eyes only a few times so I have nothing to hide and he never asked for the code to it before, I’ve given the code to him now that I know he was upset that he didn’t have it but just wondering if him not having the code before makes me weird or suspicious?

I believe in complete transparency in my marriage. What's weird is that he jumped to "suspicious" when it sounds like he simply could ask you for the password or talked to you about it. When people start acting suspicious of you when you know you've done nothing shady start keeping your eyes on them.

Thats very odd. Does he have any reason to not trust you? My husband and I have our phone codes because sometimes we need to get into each other's phones for pictures or contacts etc, but we dont know each others individual passwords for email or social media. If there was a history of dishonesty then thats understandable, otherwise I find it weird and controlling to be always checking up on your partner and snooping.

I don’t think your weird or suspicious for it. I think he’s insecure and controlling and I don’t see a reason to needing all the passwords to all your things. You are still entitled to self privacy

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I do not like my friends partners having access to everything on their phones. When you give up your privacy on your phone, you also give up that of the people who message you. There are many things I tell or show my friends that are for their eyes only.

if you weren't hiding it on purpose then i don't know why he would be upset. me and my boyfriend never had this issue tho since we swapped passwords at the beginning of the relationship for total transparency.

He's the one being weird and suspicious. You have the right to privacy. So does EVERY person you text, snapchat, message, etc. So nor only does he want to violate your privacy, he wants to violate THEIRS as well.
