Today I went to the ER for severe bleeding and a large fleshy mass coming out of my cervix. This was accompanied by SEVERE pain that basically felt like I was in labor. This fleshy mass though wouldn’t come out. I could feel my cervix and that probably hanging two inches out of my cervix. Originally I was concerned it was left over placenta because I pulled off a piece of it and it looked like that. That wasn’t the case. They didn’t see anything left in there They said I have a larger than normal endometrium. Said it could come out in chunks. I went googling and learned the term decidual cast. Basically where the endrometrium comes out in once piece. This is the only thing that would make sense to what I’m feeling. The ER didn’t quite understand exactly what happened just what the ultrasound showed. Supposed to see OB Monday but I basically feel crazy at this point cause they didn’t seem concerned. I however am mind blown that I was hurting that much with a thick hard piece of tissue coming out of my cervix when I’m cramping badly or have a bowel movement that I cannot explain.
