How far do you plan to go until induction?
Currently 40-weeks and 1-day pregnant. I know babies come when they are ready, but I also know my OB will talk about induction at my appointment today.
I would much rather wait for her to come when she is ready, but I know my hospital doesn’t really like women going past 41-weeks.
My first baby was shy of 42-weeks when she came earth side (but I went through a birth center then who allowed women to go up to 42-weeks).
For those of you still pregnant, how far do you plan to go before getting induced?
I’m not sure if I should push scheduling an induction to closer to 42-weeks, or just schedule something for the end of next week and hope she comes before.
I know a due date is just an estimate and we are all different as have different cycles, but…I have just never planned an induction and am dreading it. I know some go smoothly, but I also know some can be lengthy just to end up in a fail induction requiring a cesarean.
Good luck to all of the mama’s during the rest of their pregnancy and for those who already had their babies, congratulations!
