My son had an evaluation for speech therapy yesterday. Afterward, when I was getting him in his car seat, my boyfriend’s friend made a snide comment about how they say he needs speech therapy at 2. (My boyfriend waited in the car during the appointment and was talking to his friend on the phone.) His friend made it seem like it’s unnecessary for him to do speech therapy, but I’d rather get him the help he needs now than wait and for the problem to get bigger.

Honestly I don’t know what the point of this post was, I’m guessing I just needed to vent a little especially since I was starting to doubt myself.
