TTC…. Any tips?

Hello!
Ttc since july using the app but started using opks since september and nothing. Do you think if i use the 6 days before pregnancy test i’d be accurate?
This thing is fustrating! I started taking folic acid since september also.

Pregnancy tests only work by detecting HCG. Implantation has to occur in order for the pregnancy hormone to be released to be detected on a pregnancy test. Implantation can occur between 6-12dpo. There’s really no way to tell PMS from pregnancy this early on either. Best advice is to wait to see if your period is late then take a test. I’ve always found that testing before I was late was just a waste of money and tests. I’ve been gone as far as waiting until I hit cycle day 32 since my periods have been known to be as long as 31 days but never 32. We’ve been TTC for 5 years so I’ve had to learn the hard & frustrating way to just wait it out then be pissed off for a day and try again.

Learn your body is my best advice. Apps are helpful but they don’t know your cm and temperature changes. I got pregnant by checking my cm
