I wouldn’t count on growth scans to tell you baby’s weight. It’s just a rough estimate. My best friend had growth scans and was told each time her baby would be around 6lbs at birth. She gave birth 2 weeks early and her baby was 7lbs 9oz

Having another big bubba, my daughter was in the 90th and was 8lb 6 and this one’s in the 95th

It could go either way. When I was measuring 2 weeks ahead with my first he came exactly 2 weeks early, but I know that's uncommon for it to work that way. Also, despite him measuring ahead, he wasn't measuring as large as they thought. At 36 weeks they said he weighed 7 lb 15 oz. He was born 2 weeks later and came out 7 lb 7 oz.

I don't think it matters. My two children were 10 pounds and 9 pounds 10 Oz, both were two weeks overdue.
Now third baby is measuring big, I'm allowed to have a natural birth this time, unless baby goes past 41 weeks+3 days then I'll be induced.

33 week scan last week and he measures 37 weeks all the way around estimated weight at 6lbs already. Which isn't much of a surprise for us my first was 9lbs my second came early and was still 7lbs

I had my most recent growth scan Monday at 32+2 and he’s measured 35+1 and 5lb 9oz
My husband was a few oz shy of 11lbs when he was born so I’m getting induced on 12/26 at 39+2

That’s good to hear then! Yeah the extra fluid is interesting, I’ve never heard of that. Hopefully bubs comes before 39 weeks for your sake 😂 I’m the same, 158cm and was 60kg pre pregnancy and my first was 4kg baby but I never had a growth scan ultrasound with her just this one because they measured my belly and got a less of measurement then what I was meant to be at 34 weeks so I was anxious that he wasn’t growing enough or something but turned out he 80% centile which was a relief. Just wonder if it made a difference on due dates or if you go in labour early if there measuring 2 weeks ahead 😂😂 because I’m ready for him to come if that’s the case 💁🏻‍♀️

At 36+2 my growth scan indicated baby is currently measuring 39 +5 with estimated weight of 7lb 7oz 😅

All of my babies have been larger. My last 2 have been in the upper 90s percentile wise. I've gone into labor on my due date both times so far and I'm just about 38 weeks with #3. Ultrasound estimates can often be wrong too so keep that in mind.
