What is your Christmas/Winter Holiday budget for your children per child?

If you celebrate a winter holiday with a tradition of gift giving to your children what budget do you set per child?

I don’t set a budget. My kids are only 5, 3 & 2 months so no need to spend a lot of money on them. When they get older like teens I’m sure they’ll want expensive gifts. I’ll save it for that time lol

I don’t set a budget. We only do 5 gifts plus an experience. They’re still young - 6 and 3 - so it’s pretty easy to keep things cheap. Maybe when they’re older and have more expensive interests we’ll go the budget route.

Usually $100 total limit for smaller gifts and then one big gift around $100. My oldest is 5 right now and I’m sure it’ll only get worse as he gets older and things get more expensive. $20-30 limit on everyone outside of immediate family. I have to set strict limits for myself because I’m the kind of person who would buy everyone a car for Christmas if I could 😂

Depends on age. I'm definitely not buying my 3 year old gifts for $100 😅 And other family members sure isn't either 😅

For gifts usually £100/ child
No point overdoing it. Should be about the experience not the gift. However living abroad just the 4 of us it’s not always great. Especially that my husband often has to work for holidays ( he’s a doctor)
This year decided to go on a holiday so we agreed 1 gift and 1+ week in the Sun 🥰
