My sweet Ashton Rhys decided he was ready to enter the world at 33w5d! My water broke last Friday so I had been on hospital bedrest since. They got my dates mixed up and though they would be inducing me this past Thursday but then realized 34 weeks wouldn’t be till Monday so the new plan was to wait until then to induce. Our little Ashton had other plans when I started contractions yesterday around 5am and they continued throughout the day. Once labor started it went incredibly fast and after only 3 pushes he was born on 11/12/22 at 12:56am. He’s 5lb 10oz and 18.7in. He’s breathing amazingly well on his own, but hasn’t quite gotten the hang of sucking and swallowing so he’ll be spending some time in the NICU learning out to feed. I can’t wait to be able to take my baby boy home 💙
