Baby/toddler behavior when sick
I’m a FTM. My 12 month old is getting over her first illness. She had night fevers for two nights and was fatigued, loss of appetite (for solid food, but drank breast milk) and fussy for those two days. The next two days, no fever and was/is more herself, playing and walking around (she has a small breakout/rash on her forehead and neck/chest) but she’s pretty wobbly and stumbling when she walks and if she falls on her but or forward she cries. She’s also been crying more out of the blue (which I guess isn’t out of the blue since she’s still under the weather) but she’s been arching her back and throwing herself crying. I sometimes don’t know if she’s frustrated or in pain or frustrated at pain or discomfort. She’s also teething hard right now. Ugh so many things. I’m calling her doc office tomorrow (I called the pediatrics department of our hospital to ask about her symptoms and she said it’s he’d right say and to call her doc tomorrow). What is normal behavior for your baby or toddler when sick? I know every baby is different so I wanted some input from others. Thanks!
